Privacy Policy

What our icon packs collect, why, and who receives it.

Who we are and what this covers

DrumDestroyer Themes ("we", "us") is an independent Android developer. This policy covers our icon-pack apps on Google Play: fifty packs built on one shared engine, so they all handle data the same way. The one thing that differs between packs is whether they offer ads, and each pack's Google Play listing shows whether it does. Any app of ours that works differently has its own privacy policy, linked from its Google Play listing.

What we collect

In every pack

An anonymous install ID. The first time you open a pack, it signs in anonymously with Google's Firebase Authentication, which creates a random ID for that install. The ID isn't linked to your name, email address, or Google account. With it we store one flag noting that the pack was installed while it was a paid app, so people who paid keep full access if the pack later becomes free. During sign-in, Firebase also receives your IP address and basic app and device details, which Google uses for security and to prevent abuse.

If you buy something

Purchases. Unlocks and donations are paid through Google Play. The app receives a record of what you bought so it can unlock it and restore it later. We never see your card or payment details.

In packs that offer ads

Some packs let you unlock a wallpaper by watching a video ad from Google AdMob. In those packs, Google's ad software can collect your IP address (which can be used to estimate your general location), your device's advertising ID and app set ID, how you interact with ads, and diagnostic information. Google uses this for advertising, measurement, and fraud prevention. This can happen while the app is open, not only while an ad is playing.

When wallpapers load

Wallpaper images are hosted with Cloudinary and Supabase. As with any web request, loading an image sends your IP address and basic device information to the host, which may keep it in standard server logs. These requests aren't tied to your install ID.

What stays on your device

  • Settings and ad unlocks. Your in-app settings and the wallpapers you've unlocked by watching an ad are stored on your phone only.
  • Installed-app checks. To show the right "Apply" buttons, the app checks whether certain launchers, and our other apps, are installed. That check happens on your phone, and nothing about your installed apps is sent anywhere.
  • Voice search. The search microphone opens Android's own speech-recognition screen. Your device's speech service (usually Google's) turns what you say into text and passes the app only the text. The app never has microphone access and no audio reaches us; the speech service's own privacy policy covers the recording.

What we don't collect

Your name, email address, or phone number; your contacts, messages, photos, or files; or your precise location. The icon packs don't request location, contacts, camera, or microphone permissions, and there's no account to create.

How we use it

  • To keep the access you're entitled to: paid-install status, purchases, and ad unlocks.
  • To process and restore purchases.
  • To show rewarded ads, in packs that offer them.
  • To keep our services secure and prevent abuse.

We don't sell your data, and we don't build advertising profiles. In packs with ads, Google may use the ad data described above to personalize ads under its own policies; you can limit that by resetting or deleting your advertising ID in Android settings.

Who receives it

We only use service providers needed to run the apps. Each handles data under its own privacy policy:

We may also disclose information if the law requires it.

How long it's kept

  • Install ID and paid-install flag: kept for as long as the pack is available, because they're what preserves your access. Uninstalling doesn't remove them automatically, since we can't tell when an app is uninstalled.
  • On-device data: until you clear the app's data or uninstall it.
  • Purchase records, ad data, and server logs: kept by Google, Cloudinary, Supabase, and Netlify under their own retention policies.

Your choices

  • Remove on-device data by clearing the app's storage in Android settings or uninstalling the pack.
  • Reset or delete your advertising ID in Android settings, which limits ad personalization in packs with ads.
  • Ask us about your data at info@drumdestroyerthemes.com. Because the install ID isn't linked to your name or email, we usually can't find a specific install's record from an email alone. We'll tell you plainly what we can and can't identify, and delete anything we can match to you.

If you're in a region with privacy rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA, use the same address to exercise them. We'll respond within the time the law requires.

Children

Our apps aren't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has used one of our apps in a way that collected their data, email us and we'll help.

This website

drumdestroyerthemes.com uses no cookies, analytics, ads, or tracking scripts. It's hosted by Netlify, which processes standard request information such as your IP address and browser type to deliver and protect the site. Its fonts and images are served from this site, not from third parties.

Security

Data sent between the apps and the services above travels over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS). We keep collection to the minimum listed here, which limits what could ever be exposed.

Changes to this policy

When this policy changes, we'll update it here and change the date at the top. If a change affects what we collect, we'll say so in the updated policy.
